My Alter-ego...

Strong...powerful...I wish I was just like her. She is seen as the most powerful and no one can push her down.

I want the world to see this power. I want the world to see your power.

What do you want me to do?

I want to have a festival.

Festival?

Yes. It is one were everyones alter-ego join together and test each others limits. I want them to see that the alter-ego is one of the most beutiful and dangerous people around. Please, take me to the dream world. Select the most important people who have alter-egos. Invite them to a festivity.

This dream? Won't you ever wake up from it?

I don't need to. This is my home.

The first annual Toolking Tournament has been held in the time honored tradition of spirits walking the earth once more. We invite all whose ego is of power. Take the pill, go to slumber, and we shall take care of all. Win and the cash prize is yours. Lose and may your mind be in a state of blank forever.

Keys:

ARROWS = Select
SPACE/ENTER = Confirm
ESC = Go back (only works in the battle)

Select your team

Use the arrow keys to select one of the eight teams. Each team has their own stats which show on the left side of the screen after selecting a team. A confirmation menu will appear on the bottom. Select Yes to confirm other wise select No. Select 'Quit' to end the game.

Fighting

Fight = Use normal attack.
Magic (may be named others) = Use special moves. Some attack and others heal. Some may affect your chars status.
Items = Use items you have purchased

Each char and enemy has their own ATB (active time bar). When the bar turns red, it is that chars turn. Note: You cannot see your enemies ATB. A char can no longer battle when his or her HP is at 0.

When you defeat all your opponents, you win the battle and are awarded GP (gold pieces) and sometimes even snag some weapons (weapons automatically equip).

If all your enemies defeat your party, the game is over.

Shop

When you win a battle, you are taken to the shop where you may purchase items to aid you in battle.

Buy = Buy items with your GP.
Sell = Sell items you don't need for GP.
Exit = Resume to the next fight.

Moniqua Ronie's sister who is also looking for great adventure.

Flanders A young man who enjoys Ronie and Moniqua's company.

Team Paradie Strength

Nova A girl who seeks to be a great person.

Sara Nova's best friend who enjoys helping those in need.

Rydia A loner who doesn't get along well with anyone.

Team Old School Magic

Ranus An old man who misses his old friends.

Tober Young at heart. He is weary of and is always fautigued.

Philia An elder woman who enjoys life to the fullest.

Gradia A rich dowagger who enjoys other peoples company.

Team World Warrior Strength

Craig A high school student who tends to hang around the wrong crowd.

Break A brute who picks on people. Only cares about his needs.

Ron Brother of Flanders. He likes to take control of chaotic situations.

Team Twin Evil Association Strength

Mary A nun who is bored with her life.

Betty A self-conscience girl who tends to follow orders.

Lisa A very young girl who likes to do what she wants.

Loala T.A. for Mary. A loner who enjoys walking with children.

Team Wild Strength

Mistra A wild girl who likes to act childish.

Leona A ruff girl who is heading a wrong path.

Edna Leona's friend who keeps remind Leona to quit behaving wildly.

Laura Friend of Edna's who keeps telling Enda that Leona is hopeless.

Team Majika Magic

Kuro A intermediate mage. Leader of the group.

Piros Mysterious man who says to scare shadows away.

Brilla Young apprentice who is learning the dark arts.

Team Savior Defense

Drogen Leader of the group. Aids in the name of justice.

Arnold Armored soldier. He takes no chances.

Paul Experienced trainer who takes it on himself to be a hero.

Sanji Young page who has much to learn about warfare.
